Chainsaw Annie
Meet the pinnacle of sexy mayhem. Don’t be fooled by her innocent apparel or the schoolgirl ponytails. Whatever has driven her into the grips of madness now controls her every waking moment, giving her the strength to yield a powerful chainsaw. It is her weapon of choice, because it leaves a great mess that resembles the world she lives in now.
The dark circles around her eyes are the symbols of the demon that invoked her hands to pick up the metal beast and slash anyone within range. She doesn’t care for food, passion or affection. All she hears inside her head is blind rage, pushing her further and further down the abyss. She embraces the shower of fresh blood that erupts like a volcano when the tiny, turning blades make contact.
The raw darkness has left nothing of her previous existence and she plans on bringing the same fate to everyone that crosses her path.

I Bite
The most evident feature of this vampire is the demon within. Her pupils are the windows to the unnatural power she holds, hinting towards the evil that gave birth to her dark desire. Red lips and bloodshot eyes are framed within a pale face that is snarling and ready to feed. She stands ready to devour her prey swiftly, without spilling a drop of blood.
Her only purpose as an immortal is to inflict as much pain as possible, while satisfying her untamed lust for flesh. There is no room for emotion as she squints through the dark locks that dangle like chains in front of her face. Her lips have tasted the sweetness of life and her fangs have crushed more bones than she cares to remember.
All that remains now is to please the confined demon inside her. Her next feast is only moments away, breathing for the last time.
NIGHT GUARDS – Short Film Review
Night Guards or Noćni Cuvari is the official title as it is a Croatian language film with subtitles.
The story line centers around two night guards, belonging to different generations and yet related events. The younger man has his own desires, yet ultimately understands the wisdom of the elder.
For a short film, characters and plot are sufficiently developed. The acting is very believable as well as the location. As a horror movie the story line has some nice elements and there are a couple of surprising shock moments with a little gore and supernatural events – just enough to keep from over doing it.
The major criticism of this short film would be that it appears too dark. Yes, it takes place in a dark environment, but there are ways to portray darkness without destroying the feeling of being in darkness.
