Sitting on her porch, watching the sunset over her small-town home, she poured a cool glass of sweet tea. The seemingly innocent old woman was a respected member of the community, often in attendance of town meetings or fundraisers, but the local residents had no idea what went on behind closed doors.Luring her victims into her home with the promise of delicious, freshly baked sweets and treats, she looked forward to feasting on the bloody, fleshy rewards.Locking the door and tucking the key in her pocket, she traps her prey. No-one has ever been seen leaving that house except the old woman, but who could possibly suspect something so sinister? As the victim realises there will be no cake, they panic, knowing the pain of death is approaching. They hear an evil growl, deep from the throat of this monster as she bares her teeth and takes her first, agonizing bite, repeating until she’s had her fill. She then cleans, bakes and sets her sights on tomorrow’s unlucky soul.

I Can’t See But I Can Taste
If you encounter a blind man with a thirst for blood, you can try to run but you won’t succeed. As his sight faltered after his transformation into a state of living dead, his remaining senses became heightened. He can smell you a mile off and as for taste, he loves nothing more than biting into a fresh kill.He has nothing to lose, he’s already dead, and he’s set on eating the buffet of flesh he witnesses each night. He roams into the darkness, following the scent of drunken souls who fail to keep their wits about them. He quietly approaches before lunging at the victim, violently tearing at their body and baring his teeth with hunger and fury.Come daylight, there will be nothing left of the defenceless human and he’ll be hidden, awaiting the moonlight, ready to set out on the hunt.
Pain and Agony
No-one wants to be used, but that’s exactly what this being will do. Often described as a corrupted soul, it traps itself in human bodies, sticking around until it finds a ‘better’ opportunity. The soul simply wants a human to do it’s bidding, usually for evil. Once it has conducted its despicable deed, it will have no further use for the human and decide to leave. That’s when the pain begins.Starting as a burning sensation, it could easily be passed off as heartburn, however the truth is so much worse. The pain will strengthen, tearing at the muscles, breaking each joint one by one as the body is slowly ripped apart. In the final days, the skin will begin to tear as the soul works it’s way out, leaving the body behind like trash.Only when the body has been completely torn to pieces will the soul move on to it’s next victim.
Spirit Box
It’s been hidden away for centuries, gathering dust in the attic of the old Edwardian manor. Until recently, that is. The house was renovated just a year ago and was recently sold to a young family.During a game of hide and seek, the family’s youngest son had located the box. Opening it, he saw nothing and cast it aside. That’s when everything started to change. He became quiet and withdrawn, only mumbling inaudibly, as if conversing with the air in front of him. Within days, he had vanished. Police searched to no avail, the boy could not be found. One night, his parents awoke to the sound of their son screaming. Running to his bedroom, the cried appeared to come from under the bed. What did they find under his bed? The spirit box.The couple shortly disappeared, and the box was sold at auction along with the house. Who knows where it’ll end up?
Sweet Blood Flower
She was beautiful. In the dark, it was easy to conceal the cuts that scarred her body, making it easy to lure in young men. She was sweet, friendly and so perfectly stunning, guys knew she was something special, but she judged them through a simple task – if they gave her a flower, they lived, if they didn’t, they died. She knew this was an unfair game, but after losing her life and roaming as an undead temptress, she didn’t care. She’d witnessed the changing of the times. Courting today did not appear to be the way it once was. There was no romance and she wanted to teach these men to be chivalrous.Often, men would arrive for a date with roses, wanting to spoil the beauty they had snared. However when they didn’t, she’d take them home. They’d think they were getting lucky, how wrong they were. As she brutally wounded the men who couldn’t spare a flower, she felt pride, deciding she was making the world a more romantic place.
