Spider movies are the theme of Terror Troop 13! Boss Butcher and Bloody Lizzy cover four eight-legged flicks starting with Arachnid, followed by Spiders 2: Breeding Ground (both from 2001), next was In The Spider’s Web (2007) featuring Lance Henriksen and the granddaddy of ‘em all 1977′s Kingdom of the Spiders starring William Shatner!

This podcast also features a blow by blow look at The Theatre Bizzarre in our first Terror Troop On Patrol segment. We took in this compilation from 2012 at the Esquire Theater in Denver.

Our segment picks are: Bloody Lizzy’s Thrillseekers- The Wicker Man (1973)

Boss Butcher’s Vampire Bloodbath- Prowl (2010)

Karyl- Damn Femaliens! Thanks so much for listening!

  13. kam strupp: I like longer podcasts too! We will be seeing more new movies as they come out, so stay tuned! I’m sure we’ll be releasing more longer episodes with each new movie release.

MiCK: Please do! I can’t speak of them highly enough. Stay tuned on their website, Lyndsay said they’re trying to get more theater times up.

Sir Boinks: Oh yeah, the field trip was awesome! Defenitally going to do more of these. So many horror movies coming out this year!

barbar: Hehe, as Boss said, “my obsessions showing.” Horror gods help us if we ever do a shark theme episode. When it comes to two of my favorite animals, I tend to get a little crazy. XP

HH: So glad you liked it! I love making people laugh, so that really made my day. :D

    J. Garvie: So happy to hear we met expectations! When we start recording sometimes you can just feel the ‘fun.’ I had that feeling with this one and our Chick Flick episode. It’s one of the best things about podcasting.

Amos Sterry: Please do check out our new brethren! There’s a little bit of everything for everyone on the network. ;)

silvana: Thanks for listening! Yeah, spiders tend to get it in the shorts when it comes to GOOD movies. At least there’s a couple of them. Kingdom of the Spiders is a must, Arachnophobia is good too, and although not horror; Eight-Legged Freaks is fun. Love to hear what you think after watching some of them!

thestunna: Happy to hear you enjoyed it! Sometimes cheese is the best thing. And we take it well here, I think. Will definitally have to check out Earth Vs. Spiders. I smell another bug/spider episode on our future. ;)

Karyl Gudiel: LOL, thanks! I didn’t mean to get all preachy, but it’s my #2 favorite ‘animal’ second to sharks and bees. So I can get a bit….OBSESSED! :D

  14. Excellent episode Boss and Liz. I did some checking on the coverage of spider movies that ChrisiFix and I covered many years ago, and I came in with a 7 on Kingdom Of The Spiders, it was scary, the live tarantulas on the bodies. I could of never of done a scene like that. I hate arachnids! We also covered Eight Legged Freaks, junk, comedy!

Thanks for the mention Boss on Prowl. One of the best After Dark films last year along with Seconds Apart.

I think you nailed it Boss, when you said on Grisly Zone you didn’t think I would like The Theatre Bizarre. By your in-depth discussion on the film, I will “poo poo” it. :)

Bloody Liz stuns me again. It is what I love about you girl!

  15. ty for the consistency boss butcher and bloody lizzie you never let me down now with new features and fun shows i love listening to the talks

  16. me korean wanen on hellhunter faron horror tiz a gud pod sare on english

  17. BB,
I seen you on the latest episode of G.Z. you did fantastic. Not the picture in my head I had of you, it’s all good.

Fun show as usual. Spider-theme was neat.

  18. The good ‘ole Bloodbath hasn’t let me down yet $Prowl$ on the way.
Long show Yes! Keep ‘um coming.

  19. 2 hours of fun – thanks guys

  20. Lance produced a flop with Spiders Web, the actor has chops thats a surprise. The Capt. Kirk one the Kingdom, I am seeking out dont want to spend more than a couple of bucks on it.

  21. BillChete- Don’t poopoo it until you see the effect! I know that you’d like that part!

Puppet Tunnel- Thanks so much for your compliments! I like your screen name! LOL

Dae-Jung- Not too much longer to wait for the HellHunter’s big return!

MV- Thanks so much! I wonder what people thought I looked like? I hope it wasn’t too disappointing! LOl

Stonewall- I’ll keep working to make it fresh and fun! Thanks so much for listening and taking time to post!

Eric- It makes my day to know you guys enjoy the podcast! Thanks for listening!

Saundra Mastro- Yes, I’m afraid even Mr. Henriksen couldn’t save In The Spider’s Web, and I think you’ll really get a kick out of Kingdom of the Spiders! Thanks for stopping by, and for listening!

  22. BillChete: Hehe, you like it when a lady keeps ya on your toes? Glad to hear you liked it! Loved the newest Grizzly Zone, you look better without the face warmer. ;)

puppet tunnel: Wonderful to hear you enjoyed it! We’re just two average people talking movies, and hearing that people enjoy what we say is amazing!

dae-jung: Thanks for listening! Very cool to hear we have listeners world-wide. HellHunter is returning soon, March sounds like!

eric: Your very welcome! Thank you for listening to my babble. :D

Saundra Mastro: Totally agree. Not even a big name actor could safe that sinking ship. Kingdom of the Spiders is cool (even with it’s cruelty) check out EBay, I’m sure they would have some deals on it.

  23. It sounds like Boss Butcher is nailing Lizzy HARD! Lizzy keeps mentioning that she has a husband…I feel so bad for him.

  24. Tony- LOL Uh-NO! Too funny! I am quite happy with my situation! LOL Thanks for listening!

  25. Tony Todd: Umm..also NO! I’m the same age as his daughter, we’re good friends. Friends in horror. Thanks for listening.

  26. Just a late response to an earlier show – as a connoisseur of bigfoot films I regret to inform you that you’ve already seen the best one ever made. But if you want to see something that makes Boggy Creek look like Citizen Kane check out Search For The Beast, conveniently packaged on a compilation called “Bigfoot Terror” which comes with 3 other shockingly bad bigfoot movies, including one that some huckster tried to sell as actual sasquatch footage.
For something more watchable try Abominable from 2006, although the bigfoot in the movie bears an uncanny resemblance to Stacy Keach.

  27. SickJack- That IS sad news. However, I love watching dumb movies so maybe it’s a good thing! Thanks for you suggestions, and for listening to our podcast!
