We have a super-special surprise for you this episode. We start with a horror short called “The Nightmare” then we spend almost 20 minutes with the creator of the short. It is our pleasure to present specifically for the fans of Horror Jungle, Joseph Christiana, the man, the myth, the legend, Joe Mummy!
Grisly Zone was honored to have Joe Mummy on the show, and we had a blast. We could of spent hours with him catching up. Joe Mummy is such a humble guy we only have one link for him, but do indeed check it out. It is his production company Christiana Productions. Keep up-to-date on all of Joe’s current work and upcoming projects.
After the horror movie short and interview we discuss this episodes feature, “Kill Katie Malone,” a ghost-style movie that was released on DVD and BluRay today, December 13th. A few horror notables grace the screen including Stephen Colletti, Nik Tyler and Fernanda Romero from Drag Me To Hell and The Eye.
During the wrap-up section, the hosts briefly talk about 2 other movies; Atrocious and Martyrs.

BillChete, outstanding work on this video show.
ChrisiFix, wake up, from Wiki: “Cinematography (from Greek: kinema – κίνημα “movement” and graphein – γράφειν “to record”) is the making of lighting and camera choices when recording photographic images for cinema. It is closely related to the art of still photography. Many additional technical difficulties and creative possibilities arise when the camera and elements of the scene may be in motion.”
Joe Mummy, great use of sound on the Nightmare, great transitional effects with the mini-nightmares.

Great episode–sir Mummy rad look nice to see you back in the horror scene-GTY
Thank you for the feedback, it is greatly appreciated, and Joe Mummy is the man, I agree! Specific responses below:
Lori: This is the second time in the past few episodes I have been higher than ChrisiFix on a ghost movie. Maybe them ghosts aren’t scaring her anymore. Let’s try this; ChrisiFix; BOO!
Ljh: I am doing everything in my power to land Joe Mummy. The thing is he is busy writing and making films. Teaser; he will be making another appearance soon on a podcast right here at Horror Palace!
Delmer Tamburrelli: Thank you very much for the gratitude. I love horror movies and talking about them. It is time consuming but it is so much fun!
Roy: You know you like the song, don’t be shy!
Patrice Robbins: Happy to hear you will be renting Kill Katie Malone. It is worth a viewing. Let us know what you think after the watch.
Great short with a good interview very artistic!
the nightmare had a good arc quite surprising there was no script dont think many are done that way. the garbage bag suffocation was scary way to pull it off leading in to the candy ball on the floor. if that is a near death experience keep me living.
Excellent episode_the guest was good+short good.
A clean close shave on mister billchete looks good.

Hey Guys! Thanks for all the kind words. I’m humbled.
Bill, you’ve created a great community of horror enthusiasts here. It’s great to see folks passionate about film and the macabre.
To you guys who’ve requested my regular participation on one of the shows, I’m honored but unfortunately my cup runneth over. Between writing new stuff, editing a film I just shot, and prepping for a production I’ll (hopefully) shoot in the spring, I barely have time to breathe. It would be unfair to everyone if I did a half-assed job as a co-host. I just don’t have to do it right. But I’d love to pop in every now and again, if Bill and/or the other guys would have me. I really do have a great time talking about movies. It’s maybe my favorite thing to do (aside from making them!)
Tinley: I actually didn’t think about CHAINSAW when I filmed that dinner scene in THE NIGHTMARE. It emerged out of a personal childhood fear I used to have after being sent to bed: I’d imagine that as soon as my parents thought I was asleep they’d turn into lizard like aliens, their skin peeling off grotesquely, and they’d do things beyond my comprehension– and I think that things we don’t understand are the scariest things of all, the essence of horror. Anyway, I’m not sure what that childhood imagining says about my personal psychological make-up. But it seemed to work on film.
Shana: If the child’s near-death experience would have continued just a few seconds longer, a warm white light would have opened slowly in the blackness. He’d have heard something like a lullaby sung by his mother when he was in a crib. The light would have become a tunnel. The boy’s soul would begin to rise through it and his consciousness would begin to dissipate, blissfully, just an instant after he was freed from the psychic connections with his body. He’d have become one.

Oops. I saw a type-o. Should be: “I just don’t have time to do it right.”
I have enjoyed The Nightmare several times. I need to find a way to get $$$ so I can have you make the ultimate and scary Vampire movie! Glad to see you back Joe Mummy!
Thank everyone for all your kind words, all your comments are greatly appreciated.
someguy : You will just have to watch the show to find out.
Buster Hedder : I will get the cinematography thing eventually
D_Cuzz: Thank you so much keep watching the orange is coming!
Merry Christmas to all, hope you have safe and happy holidays.
