Outstanding video, audio, reviews and reccommendations, the interview was awesome it’s like having a look into the minds of actors. 10 minutes went by quick for the interview and you guys progressed the show nicely to accommoddate.

OUTSTANDING episode and it is a treat having an actor on of your previous movie pick. He sounds like such a humble and honest guy and I do looking forward to that sick new film coming out soon.
This Network of horror podcasts is OUTSTANDING. Grisly Zone with Video is the top dog by far. I do listen to each one and each one brings a cool horror slant to the genre. I have the “monster” subscription coined by Jay and will never run out of excellent horror movies to buy.
Another new one starting tomorrow too, simply put OUTSTANDING.
Conviction BillChete you have it as a host and the most notable in the horror field. I love that ChrisiFix is even getting her wings and sparring with you on the reviews especially with your different tastes on acting. The interview was a nice bonus.
Great special having an interview. I have listened to many interviews on other audio podcasts and this is wayyyyy better having video much more personable and entertaining. I look forward to seeing Bill Oberst in some horror movies. It’s a shame his video got blurry at times, I’m glad to see you went to a split-screen to accommodate the picture.

tip for chrisifix give us more detailed reviews during your dvd section for paranormal activity 2 i didnt care cause everyone knows that-take it from the master give us details about the movie why we should watch it get me excited girl.

This video is huge, you capture moments that can never be done with audio. Nice jabs at “terror” again too, I love it

Thanks for having me on – was really fun to do this interview. We taped on a Sunday morning so I came home from church, threw a severed ear around my neck and sat down to talk extreme horror with Bill Chete. Now that’s what I call a perfect day. Grisly Zone kicks ass!

Back to the whole “nuthin’ happened” stance! I’ll admit that Paranormal Activity isn’t a gruesome gore-fest, but as far as ghost movies go this one is freaky. The build-up is methodical and the action is tasteful. But, like many movies we all saw in the theater when they first came out, I’ll admit it might not be as potent now. Chrisifix, thanks for at least saying something good about the franchise! I like PA-2 too. I’m excited and terrified to watch the 3rd installment especially since Billchete recommends it.
I think as a whole series it’s great how they’ve been able to top the previous movies in action and scares… all while going backwards chronologically!
I stand by my review man. Great haunting/ghost flick! Don’t dog it just cause you watched it post-hype! I’m excited to debate The Blair Witch Project with you this week… it may or may not go how you expect it to.

The interviewee was a riot, very honest and I respect that. Indeed, I will be seeking out movies he was in. I actually checked his Imdb page and he has quite the accredited list of films and many in post. I like how you wiggled TCSM in there Billchete, and you don’t back down for nobody example Insidious. It is why I have been listening to you for ages, now seeing you is all the more better.

TERROR!: Oh my “Terror” Tovey where to start. To keep it brief I will just state there was no “post-hype” involved. I get screenings/DVD’s well before they are released to the public, sometimes a year in advance. Paranormal Activity I had seen at least a year before anyone ever heard of the movie, and my jaw dropped when a studio picked it up and marketed the heck out of it with millions and millions of dollars. They suckered the mainstream in, dubbing it, “The scariest movie ever” and replayed the trailer everywhere of an audience screaming. Apparently you fell for the marketing and so did millions, I respect you totally as I do with everyone’s opinions, but you are dead wrong, NOTHING HAPPENED in the movie.

fantastic episode i order new movies from amazon and i seen mothman as a new release and thankfully i didn’t waste my money especially after hearing the review. thanks bunches for keeping the reviews real. dismal and reborn are on order got them both for 9 dollars each on ebay.
Great episode with the interview to mothman (the guys acting compared to Berryman-lol) to the dvd recommendations and even the wrap-up was action packed. Completely entertaining from start to finish.
BILLCHETE (and fans):
Yes, I rated “Paranormal Activity” an 8.5 (Buy it!) and called it “a must-see” (at least once) for anyone who digs horror movies. What makes that film so brilliant is the very fact that so little is shown or happens, and yet, thousands of people were still creeped out by it. There’s no way you or anybody can deny that a film which shows no monster, no blood and no gore but still manages to scare people isn’t effective filmmaking.
P.S. Sorry Chrisifix, but I just can’t back you on the second one… To me “Paranormal Activity 2″ seemed like an over-the-top parody of the original film, like some kind of “Scary Movie”-type of spoof.
Magnificent show was unaware of this launch – great video, interview, and reviews. Now I am going back to watch the first 3.

Your actor guest was great alot of knowledge and it is honorable that he admires the legends and learns from them. I think that is the problem in today’s horror – these new upstart actors don’t realize what started the horror craze.

Jay Of The Dead: I can say whatever I want about Paranormal Activity, it wasn’t effective filmmaking, it was a student project that got LUCKY a conglomerate put millions into it. I can name 100′s of movies that would of had the same appeal if they had the backing. And by the way NOTHING HAPPENED in the movie!

Excellent horror movie commentary, the interview was great, Oberst Jr. is an interesting guy, I can see how he takes roles that are unnerving, he has the look. This is the best horror podcast period.

Last weekend we watched Choose and the Girl Next Door from Ep1 and loved them – Great horror movies. Thank you very-very much for making this video content free to watch at anytime.
My copy of Dismal came in and watched in last night, excellent efx I loves me some backwoods cannibals and what a surprise having the star on this episode. The guy creeped me out in the movie so I would say he did an excellent job.

I keep forgetting new shows are released on Tuesday, ’tis OK tho you make it available all the time. THis is a excellent episode, fun discussions with that Syfy flick, hey I like the bad reviews just as much as the good ones, then excellent reviews on the picks of the week and I almost forgot the interview was fun too. I’ll be checking in sooner this next so I can buy the DVD’s during the week.

Saturdays are fantastic I get to watch Grisly Zone and then order some good horror movie recommendations! Nice implementation with the interview with the cannibalistic father of the previous recommendation. Dismal was a cool slasher some cool kills, the big cannibal had some creepiness factor going on with the look.
Lovely show pals, it’s a pleasurable thing seeing critics, actors rather than simply hearing them. This is a game-changer in horror podcasts and I am glad I got in on the ground floor.

Ordered the Machined Reborn movie I will let you know my rating when it comes in. I took your advice and avoided Moth Man, I seen it for a cheap Seven Dollar, I think they are dropping the price already because of lack of sales.

You must check out the latest show, Episode 007, I interview Nick Everhart and air a fantastic horror short called Slash In The Box, best of all, “man” is squashed! I think you will be pleased. 
I bet the poor and emotionless acting took you out of Wrong Turn 4. It really hurt the film on a whole. Most of the kill scenes were brutal with great effects. I didn’t laugh much at all, I guess you didn’t “buy” the mutants.

Hey there Billchete! Ok, so I watched 004 again, and I realized at the end that you spoke a little about Walking Dead. So I have to ask then if you have watched any of American Horror Story? I freakin love that show, im hooked. And I am very curious as to what you and Crisifix think about it.

I have heard many good things about American Horror Story but have yet to watch it. I did a quick check and seen it is already on Episode 8. I will definitely check it out at the end of the season when they make the Season DVD’s available per your recommendation.
